What the Job Entails
Maintenance Engineers are required for our client based in Chertsey. The work will be in London and the Home Counties.
Duties and Responsibilities
? Responsible to maintenance manager and senior staff.
? To be responsible for (mechanical / electrical, HVAC / facility) domestic, commercial, high end properties and offices and deliver all PPM to the highest quality.
? Manage sub-contractors and their packages and PPM works.
? Ensure all log books are kept up-to-date on all contracts.
? Ensure completed weekly timesheets are kept up-to-date and forwarded to the relevant administration staff.
? Ensure detailed daily worksheets are signed by the Client and are kept up-to-date and forwarded to the relevant administration staff.
? Obtain correct order numbers when collecting / ordering materials
? When required, inform co-workers and clients of progress / works on site
? Assist maintenance manager in order to meet objectives, timescales, quality and financial budgets on all PPM and small / minor works.
? Liaise with clients / end users / main contractors and sub contractors to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
? Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance and adhere to relevant health and safety procedures.
? Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
? Our client operate an out of hour’s call-out system for a number of clients. You will be expected to be part of a rolling rosta system which provides this service.
? Gas Safe registered. Commercial and Non - Domestic.
? CSCS card for advanced craft / supervisory.
? Electrical 17th Edition City & Guilds qualified.
? Responsible for keeping the company vehicle clean and tidy / presentable. Tools to be maintained, kept clean and presentable.
? Company uniform to be worn and kept clean and neat.
? Required to be Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Services Certified.
